I was responsible for electronics in a small firm in Belgium. The firm, Comdiam, is a research and development based company designing tools and machinery for the diamond industry. It is a daughter company of the Diamond High Council in Belgium.

Junior Visual Basic Programmer
Visual Basic programmer in a software house in Wareham, creating database programs for the car industry.

Senior Design Engineer
Responsible for the design, maintenance and customer contact for the following products:
- Advanced Network Adapter : This is a gateway for several different stacks, including ISDN and SS7.
- Emulators: Created a V5 access network emulator, a V5 local exchange emulator and a GSM – RIL3 CC reference object.
- Embedded controller: Ported our existing ISDN stack to a 68302 micro controller.

External Consultant, Adsl Access Network:
Providing Telecoms and Software consultancy for the Alcatel ADSL Access network. Help with the conversion from C to C++.

Embedded software engineer (Linux):
Developing software (mainly embedded Linux on PPC and ARM) for different products:
- DVB-RCS Burstdemodulator: This device is able to demodulate and decode up to 8 Mbit off DVB-RCS return channel (QPSK/GMSK, TURBO decoding, MFTDMA)
- Generic MonCon module: all Newtec devices use this MonCon module witch enables the user to communictae with the device over different technologies, SNMP, RMCP, FrontPannel, HTTP, Java-applet.
Ported Linux and U-boot to 4 different Hardware Platforms, from A Simple Monitor and Control board to A real time 7 VP30 FPGAS, 8 DSP board.
Participated in the system design and integration of the DVB-RCS hub.
